“Overcoming Trauma and Dispelling Human Trafficking Myths” with Jenna McKaye
March 13, 2025 @ 6 p.m.
Do you know something we don’t talk about in our community, either because we don’t know about it or because it’s too difficult to discuss? Human trafficking. Is there a way out? Yes!
Yuba City First United Methodist Church invites you to its first Community Talk, featuring Jenna McKaye, an author, public speaker, and survivor of human trafficking. Her personal and extraordinary story has inspired many audiences, including the United Nations, and is currently in pre-production for a film. Please visit her website (https://jennamckaye.com) to learn more about her.
Jenna’s presentation will be preceded by a light supper and followed by a Q&A session, with a book signing at the end. For more about her award-winning memoir, Grit and Grace: An Unforgettable Memoir of the Human Spirit, visit Amazon.
